Read this before you rely on it
CloseCheck tells you what a rule says and where to read it. It never tells you that a property is compliant. Ordinances change, boundaries do not follow city limits, and fees move. Every line below links to its source and carries the date it was last checked — open the link and confirm with the issuing agency before you remove a contingency or set a closing date.
Absence of a requirement here is not a legal opinion that none exists. Jurisdictions marked not yet researched have not been checked at all.
What changed
Ordinances move and a stale entry is worse than no entry, so every change to this dataset is dated and kept. An ordinance change is news you may have to act on; a correction means this tool was wrong before, which matters just as much if you relied on it.
